Question 1 of 6
It is your second week. A manager asks you for a client report by 5pm. At 3pm you realise it will need until tomorrow to be right.
Show the answer
Tell the manager now, explain what is left and ask which parts matter most. Early warning gives the manager a choice while there is still time. The other options hide the problem or hand it to someone else.
-
Question 2 of 6
In a team project, one colleague keeps missing their deadlines and the others are getting annoyed.
Show the answer
Talk to them privately, ask what is getting in the way and agree what happens next. A private conversation is proportionate and may reveal a fixable cause. Going to the manager comes next if nothing changes.

Question 3 of 6
You spot an error in figures that a senior colleague has already sent to a client.
Show the answer
Tell the colleague directly and show them what you found. They own the relationship and can fix it properly. Staying silent leaves the client with wrong numbers, and contacting the client yourself skips the person responsible.

Question 4 of 6
A customer is angry about a delay that was not your fault.
Show the answer
Listen, acknowledge the problem, and tell them what you will do and when. The customer wants to be heard and to know what happens next. Blame does not help, and a refund may not be yours to offer.

Question 5 of 6
You are given a task you have never done and the person who briefed you has gone on leave.
Show the answer
Check existing examples, then ask someone else on the team to confirm your approach. You make a sensible attempt and check it early. Waiting or guessing both cost more later.

Question 6 of 6
A friend at another firm asks you which clients your team is working with.
Show the answer
Say you cannot share client information and change the subject. Client confidentiality applies regardless of who is asking. A polite no is enough.
How to do better on this test
Read the employer’s values first
A situational test is often their values turned into scenarios. Those pages tell you what the test rewards.
Prefer early and direct
Good options tend to deal with a problem soon, with the person concerned, and inside your own role.
Answer as yourself, on a good day
Trying to game it across dozens of scenarios rarely works, and the job you get should suit how you behave.
