About Graduate Chat

Why it exists

Getting better at interviews takes repetition and honest feedback, and most graduates get neither. A university careers service can help, but appointments run out and there is rarely someone around the night before. Graduate Chat gives you somewhere to practise as often as you need.

What is here

• Mock interviews with Pip, marked out of five.
• Common interview questions and the STAR method.
• Timed test sets with worked answers.
• A line-by-line CV and resume check.
• Guides to each stage of an application.

Why the UK and Australia

Both have structured graduate recruitment: schemes in the UK, programs in Australia, with online tests and assessment centres. The US works differently and we do not cover it.

Who runs it

Graduate Chat is run by the Arrivau team. We are not a recruiter or a careers service. We do not place people in jobs, and employers have no say in what Pip tells you.
